Before You Start

This quick onboarding assumes you're bringing KAS from Kaspa L1 → Kasplex L2. You'll need:

  • Check
    MetaMask (or an EVM-compatible wallet) for Kasplex L2 (adding network, adding $KOOK, swapping).
  • Check
    Kasware for Kaspa L1 (the official bridge uses Kasware for the L1 side).
  • Check
    Desktop Chrome/Brave recommended. Mobile may not inject both wallets.
  • Heads-up
    Have some KAS on L1 in Kasware to bridge. Bridge time is typically ~1 minute.

When all checks are green, this panel hides and the 3-step Fast Onboarding unlocks.

Step 1 — Download Kasware & MetaMask (Chrome)

Install the browser extensions in Chrome:

Step 2 — Create/Backup or Load Wallets

Open each wallet and either create a new wallet (safely back up your seed phrase) or import an existing one.

Never share your seed phrase. Store offline.

Step 3 — Add Kasplex zkEVM to Kasware

In Kasware: Settings → EVM Network → Add Custom Network → Quick Add, then select Kasplex zkEVM Mainnet.

Step 4 — Add Kasplex L2 to MetaMask

In MetaMask: Menu (top-right) → Networks → Add network → Add a network manually, then fill:

MetaMask typically uses the symbol without "$".

Press Save.

Step 5 — Fund Kasware with Kaspa (KAS)

If you don't have KAS, you can purchase via TopperPay and send to your Kasware L1 address.

  1. Open Kasware → Receive → copy your address.
  2. Go to TopperPay and paste your address when prompted.

Step 6 — Open the Kaspa → Kasplex Bridge

Head to the bridge:

Step 7 — Connect Wallets (L1 = Kasware, L2 = MetaMask)

On the bridge, connect both wallets when prompted. Approve any requests. It should auto-detect networks.

Step 8 — Bridge Amount & Submit

Your address fields should auto-populate. Choose how much to bridge and press Submit.

Bridging usually takes about a minute.

Step 9 — Buy $KOOK on LFG Kaspa

You're ready to KOOK. Connect MetaMask to the DEX and swap $KAS for $KOOK.
